So, I've been thinking about ways to better the comic and I've run into a hindrance that's really been driving me crazy.

Before deciding to make this into an action comic, I binded the characters to something without thinking.

Real people. Real people that I'm more or less friends with (I kind of truthfully don't know some of you so well. or at all XP). Real people are probably the worst thing I could ever bind a character to.

I want characters with backgrounds, personalities, passions... They're not there to make people say "I would totally do that!" and laugh. They shouldn't be copies of people, either.

It was a terrible (read: stupid) move on my part, even before the characters were a part of this newer comic.

I honestly can't even tell what I was thinking back then. -_-/ There's absolutely no benefit to be had by making characters based off of real people.

Actually, I might be able to recover a bit of what I was thinking...

I must have forgotten that I'm not a message board comic artist anymore. DA isn't a message board and there's no reason or need for characters based off of real people anymore. I guess I started doing what I was used to instead of doing what was best.

So, I apologize. It's best to throw away these characters and just make completely fictional ones. That way, I can do things like kill certain people off, or make a character any way I want to. You know, basically, I can make a character do or look like anything I want him or her to.

I don't want to offend anyone by making their characters do something they don't like.

It's the sort of freedom I need to make an awesome story.

I'm sincerely sorry for getting your hopes up. I hope you don't hate me after reading this. To be honest, it was a bit hard for me to write this, since some of you are pretty enthusiastic about it. (heh, some of you probably wouldn't have even liked your characters to begin with.)
